Deacon James Ray "Boot" Barrett, 73, of 3251 Dickinson Avenue, Greenville, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center.
On June 22, 1948, he was born to Fenner Barrett and Addie Moye Haddocks.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday at 2pm at Victory Christian Assembly located at 4748 Stantonsburg Road, Greenville, NC, and a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church. Bishop V.B. Phillips will officiate, Pastor Jimmy Stokes presiding, and burial will follow in Homestead Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
On Saturday 6-8 pm, there will be a Wake/Musical Service at English Chapel FWB Church.
Floral Arrangements will be received at Blake Phillips Funeral Services - 103 Raleigh Avenue - Greenville, NC 27834.
